Deepening the relationship between the room of life and death, actual materials are brought in order to build up the relationship; wood and brick. Once asked which material could build up the highest, the answer is wood. Composed of water and air, which are the necessities of life, wood has the most potential of growth, flexibility, and porosity with the surrounding. It allows the change in time. Bricks are basically from earth and water, which are the source of life as well, but they become the most long-lasting and strongest building material after being fired. Fire stops every change in time, hence, bricks stay stable and calm at the very last stage of life, death.
